What you need to run TanTrack Tanning Salon Software in your computer
TanTrack Tanning Salon Software System Requirements
Below are some minimum recommendations to get the best experience out of your computer when using TanTrack.
Generally speaking if the system you are looking at runs on Windows 10, preferably higher, it will do the job!
Windows 10 or 11 (Recommended)
We recommend as a minimum, Windows 10, ideally Windows 11. Windows 10 will work but it was discontinued by Microsoft on October 14, 2025 and will no longer receive any security updates.
CPU / Processor
We recommend a computer with an Intel or AMD processor of at least 2Ghz.
It is best to avoid the “home use” processors such as Celeron, Centrino, Centrino Duo, Atom, Sempron, Neo and Neo X2 Processors. Home use processors will work but they aren’t really designed to crunch data as much as they are for just browsing the web and checking e-mails.
Resolution
1366 x 768 Resolution Minimum. A higher resolution will expose more features in TanTrack that require additional screen space.
Monitor
17″ or larger Widescreen Monitor. A larger monitor will allow you to display more data at a higher resolution while keeping the font size larger and easier to read.
Memory
4 Gb RAM is the bare minimum required just to run Windows. We recommend starting with at least 8 Gb RAM (or higher) as it will add more speed to the performance of your computer and keep the computer feeling fast for a longer period as technology improves over time.
Hard Drive
128 Gb Hard Drive or larger. An SSD type of disk is faster but not required.
Ports available
Depending on the devices you have please consider having enough ports available as listed below.
You can also acquire a USB Expansion Hub (must be powered) to connect all the external devices from a mouse, keyboard to a barcode scanner. If acquiring a USB Expansion Hub make sure to buy a “powered” hub that plugs into a power outlet (not just to the computer).
